Eligibility Criteria:

  • ·         Age Criteria: There will be no upper age limit to apply for CLAT 2018.
  • ·         Qualification Eligibility: The candidate will be considered eligible for CLAT if he/she has passed the 12th examination with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
  • ·         Candidates appearing the 12th examination in March/April will also be eligible for CLAT 2018. Such candidates have to produce the proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • ·         Qualifying Examination: The prescribed qualification for LL.M. is LL.B./Five-Year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.)/ any other equivalent exam.
  • ·         Minimum Marks: Minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination should be 55% for unreserved /OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP). In case of SC/ST, the minimum marks would be 50%.
  • ·         Final semester/final year examination appearing candidates may also apply.
  • ·         Age Limit: No prescribed maximum age limit for PG courses.

The application fee of CLAT 2018 is different for different categories which are as follows:

  • ·         Question Paper Medium: English
  • ·         Marking Scheme: Each right answer carries 1 mark.
  • ·         Negative Marking: . 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.

For PG Courses:

  • ·         Courses: Post-graduate law courses (i.e. LL.M.).
  • ·         Mode of Examination: Online mode (computer Based Test).
  • ·         Type of Questions: Only multiple-choice questions
  • ·         Exam Duration: 2 hours.
  • ·         Question Paper Medium:  English
  • ·         Marking Scheme:  Each right answer carries 1 mark.
  • ·         Negative Marking: . 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
